A retirement planning expert has called on the Government to extend the new ISA inheritance rules so that savings can be passed on tax free to children as well as a spouse.

The Government has this afternoon announced a raft of changes to take effect in the coming months with implications for Financial Planners.

Bereaved spouses will be able to inherit ISAs when their loved ones die with the tax free status intact, the Chancellor has announced.
