The number of women working after 70 has more than doubled in four years, increasing from 5.6% in 2012 to 11.3% in 2016 and getting close to the number of men working past 70.

Inflation has leapt up to its highest level for three and a half years, reaching 2.3% in February.

The Office for National Statistics has released details of suicides by occupation, showing that 52 people describing themselves as finance and investment analysts and advisers took their own lives between 2011 and 2015.
