Quilter Financial Advisers has appointed former Brooks Madonald financial advice lead Adrian Keane-Munday as its national sales director.

Quilter, one of the largest advice firms in the UK, has cut its number of restricted advisers over the past year by 141 from 1,842 to 1,701, it revealed in its latest interim results out today.

Quilter Financial Planning chair Chris Samuel has been appointed a non-executive director of the main company’s board with effect from 1 July.

The majority of Financial Planners expect their net assets under management and client numbers to increase over the next year, according to a new survey.
