Platform and SIPP provider AJ Bell saw £1.9bn in outflows in its quarter ending 31 March despite customer numbers topping 500,000 for the first time, it reported today.

Wealth and investment manager Brooks Macdonald has today reported net outflows of £70m for the first quarter of its financial year ended 30 September.

UK investors moved £409m into funds in February as ISA savers continued to commit to long-term investing, according to the fund sector's trade body.

Funds were hit by a record £25.7bn in outflows in 2022 as frightened investors withdrew their money, according to a leading investment trade body.
