The Pension Schemes Bill - deferred from the last Parliament - has returned to the legislature with a raft of changes planned including new legislation to advance the Pensions Dashboard.

Former Pensions Minister Baroness Ros Altmann has warned that the planned Pensions Dashboard will fail unless the government also introduces simple, standardised pension statements for all pension savers.

Today’s Queen’s Speech, at the state opening of Parliament today, has brought the Pensions Dashboard closer and unveiled a number of other measures.
