M&G makes deal with Fintel to boost distribution
Fund manager M&G has signed a strategic distribution partnership with fintech Fintel to boost distribution for its retail and savings business.
Fintel is the parent company of Defaqto and SimplyBiz.
The fund manager hopes the deal with boost distribution for its Pru UK and M&G Investments products.
Fintel’s Managed Distribution Service is a subscription-based service which combines data, product research, and distribution services. It uses segmental and heavioural insights with access to regulatory expertise to help providers develop tailored propositions and distribute them through financial intermediaries.
Matt Timmins, joint CEO of Fintel, said: “Fintel and M&G have enjoyed a strong partnership for the last 15 years and we both look forward to the positive impact we will continue to have in supporting advisers to deliver the best possible outcomes to consumers.'”
M&G is the 20th provider to sign up to the service.
Other providers to sign up include Aviva, Fidelity, Schroders and Just.
