Tim Sargisson, chief executive at Sandringham
A compliance director who used to work at HMRC has been appointed to the board of a national advisory business.
Tim Grey has been handed the role at Sandringham Financial Partners, which was launched in 2012 with financial backing from Ken Davy, who is also chairman of the SimplyBiz Group.
Mr Grey joined Sandringham in 2015 and his current position is compliance director – a position he retains alongside his responsibilities as a board member.
He has 14 years of experience in the industry and previously held roles at SimplyBiz and Oval Financial Services, as well as running his own consultancy business.
Tim Sargisson, chief executive at Sandringham, said: “Compliance and minimising risk are at the very heart of Sandringham’s business model. Recent history reminds us that the financial services sector does not understand risk as well as it should and this goes a long way to explaining many of the problems that the industry has encountered.
“Tim leads a team that continually strives to provide a low risk environment for our partners with high quality results for customers. I’m pleased he will be sharing his views at board level as we continue our rigorous partner recruitment process and further build the business.”
