Wealth manager Blevins Franks has recruited James Roberts, a founder of London Financial Planning firm Partners Wealth Management, as its new CEO.

The company provides tax and wealth management advice mainly to UK expats living in Europe.

The appointment of Mr Roberts is subject to regulatory approval. 

Blevins Franks, which has been in business for half a century, says Mr Roberts will become only the third leader of the business in its history.

Blevins Franks, set up in 1975, operates in the UK and six European countries and employs more than 250 people. The firm has offices across Europe including France, Spain, Portugal, Cyprus, Malta and Monaco as well as the UK.
