Net outflows held steady for Aberdeen’s Adviser business in the third quarter at £0.7bn, due to continued elevated redemption activity.
This quarter’s net outflows are a 40% increase from the £0.5bn in outflows reported in Q3 2025.
The Q3 £0.7bn net outflows follow several consecutive quarters of outflows for the business which reported £1.3bn in net outflows for the first half of this year. Total net outflows for the year to date as at 30 September were £2bn.
The Adviser business reported £2.6bn in redemptions for the quarter, taking total redemptions since 1 January to £7.5bn.

The outflows were partially offset by positive market movements, with assets under management and administration for Aberdeen’s Adviser arm ending the quarter down by £0.3bn at £ to £84.5bn (30 June: £84.8bn). Year-on-year, the assets rose 5%.
Jason Windsor, CEO of Aberdeen, said: “While returning to net inflows is taking longer than anticipated, we continue to take significant steps forward. The platform is performing well and we are confident the changes we are making will successfully position the business to meet the needs of the rapidly evolving IFA market.”
