Hundreds of Financial Planners will be heading to Windsor next week for the CISI 2026 Financial Planning Conference, one of the biggest events in the Financial Planning calendar.
The CISI’s Financial Planning Conference 2026 will spotlight AI integration as well as how to attract and train new talent. Lifestyle Financial Planning will also feature.
The conference returns to the De Vere Beaumont Estate near Windsor on 8 and 9 October.
It is the biggest gathering of Certified Financial Planner professionals in the UK and the agenda has been developed in collaboration with the CISI Financial Planning Conference Committee.
Carly Dunningham CFP MCSI, director of Financial Planning at Verso Wealth Management and chair of the CISI Financial Planning Forum, told Financial Planning Today: “Our Financial Planning Conference this year will focus on the big issues shaping today’s profession, including AI integration, training and attracting talent, with cutting-edge practitioner-led streams dedicated to lifestyle Financial Planning.

The conference will provide eight hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and features keynote speakers, including:
- Behavioural science expert Rory Sutherland, vice chair of Ogilvy UK, who will share insights on the hidden psychological factors that shape financial behaviour
- US storytelling expert Matthew Dicks, whose session will include storytelling frameworks to build trust and deepen client relationships
- Award-winning strategist, founder and CEO of AI for Non-Techies, Heather Murray, who will delve into real life cases and the top AI tools and prompts for Financial Planners
- Financial Planning Standards Board CEO Dante Del Gori, who will provide global insights on Financial Planning
- Jamil Qureshi, performance coach and author, will explore what drives high performance under pressure
The conference will also include breakout streams, workshops, networking opportunities and the annual CISI Financial Planning Awards ceremony, including the CFP Celebration, a Gala Dinner awards event honouring individual and firm excellence across the profession.
