IFA consolidator Radiant Financial Group has appointed Alan Hopley as head of Financial Planning & Analysis.

Mr Hopley joins Radiant from the same role at Addison Lee Group, where he supported the business through its sale process and subsequent bank-led takeover in March 2020.

Prior to this he held senior roles at The Regard Group, Complete Cover Group and Bupa.

The firm has also recently appointed James Cumming as its new CFO, Robert Taylor as group head of compliance, and Helen Taylor as HR manager.

Mr Cumming was most recently CFO at Complete Cover Group, where he led the financial team for over six years. At Radiant he is responsible to the finance function as the business begins to acquire more firms.

Mr Taylor was formerly at compliance consultancy TCC Group.

Former Old Mutual vice-chairman and Skandia CEO Peter Mann launched the new IFA firm consolidator, Radiant Financial Group, with insurance industry heavyweight Simon Cogman-Hellier, in November.

The IFA consolidator aims to create a "fully integrated financial advice group based on a shared culture and a high quality, holistic service offering."

Mr Cogman-Hellier spoke exclusively to Financial Planning Today last month about the firm’s acquisition pipeline, doing business during lockdown and how his psychology background has influenced his career.
