The FCA said its registration portal My FCA “has proven to be a real success” after its first 12 months.
The portal for registered and authorised firms, replacing the previous system which required firms to sign in to three different systems.
As part of ongoing changes to the registration system the FCA removed RegData sign in at the end of last year and has now removed direct access to Connect and the Online Invoicing System.
It said firms do not need to take any action. All existing RegData, Connect and Online Invoicing links and bookmarked pages will now automatically redirect to My FCA, where Planners and advisers can access all systems from a single homepage without signing in again.
The regulator said the change “makes managing your regulatory tasks quicker and more efficient.”
It said My FCA is now used by all firms with engagement continuing to grow, and it is now firmly embedded as a key part of firms’ regulatory journey.
Jessica Rusu, the FCA's chief data, intelligence and information officer said: “One year into My FCA and we’re delivering on our ambition to be a smarter, more efficient regulator. We’ve taken firms’ feedback and turned it into a simpler, clearer regulatory experience.”
