Off-platform SIPP and SSAS provider @SIPP has appointed Helen Carr as business development manager.
She joins from Nucleus-owned Talbot & Muir, bringing two decades of specialist SIPP and SSAS experience.
She will support advisers and Financial Planners across the Midlands, East Anglia and North London.
The specialist provider is celebrating 25 years in business this month.
Stephen Lancaster, COO at @SIPP, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be bringing aboard someone of Helen’s calibre and experience. Twenty years in the sector is the kind of experience advisers can lean on with real confidence, and that's exactly what we want every relationship with @SIPP to feel like.
“Reaching 25 years as one of the longest-established SIPP providers in the UK is a real milestone; and we're growing organically, not consolidating. We're not a platform giant, and we don't want to be.”
Ms Carr added that the firm’s specialist knowledge and independent ownership were two of the factors that attracted her to the firm.
She said: “As the platform market has continued to consolidate around ever-larger groups, I found myself gravitating back towards a provider that has chosen to stay both specialised and independently owned.”
@SIPP is an independent off-platform SIPP and SSAS provider headquartered in Glasgow. Founded in 2001, it provides administration and trustee services for around 4,600 self-invested pension members and 550 financial advisers, with approximately £2bn in assets under administration. It also hass a speciality in commercial property within SIPPs, with around 1,300 properties on its books.
