Specialist SIPP and SSAS provider Yorsipp has recruited Mark Randell from Standard Life to be strategic partnerships and distribution director.
He was formerly senior business development manager at Standard Life.
Mr Randell has more than 35 years’ experience in the UK financial services industry, including more than 25 years specialising in bespoke pension.
He has had extensive experience across SIPP and SSAS administration, commercial property transactions and complex retirement planning. Over his career, which has also included spells at Investec, Embark Group and Rowanmoor, he said he has developed strong relationships with financial advisers, wealth planners and professional introducers throughout the UK.
At Yorsipp he will work alongside Stephen Gilligan and Sam Davidson.
Mr Randell said: “Advisers increasingly need pension solutions that can accommodate different investment strategies and complex client circumstances, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.”

Yorsipp provides a range of bespoke SIPP and SSAS arrangements designed to accommodate a variety of investment and retirement income strategies. It said its approach is centred on flexibility and working closely with advisers to find solutions that meet individual client requirements.
