Two Financial Planning firms based in the South West have achieved prestige Chartered Firm status from the CISI professional body.
The two new firms achieving Chartered Firm status are Cornwall-based Dean Stevens Wealth Management and Devon-based William Highbourne.
The status is awarded by the CISI which also runs the Certified Financial Planner designation in the UK and has 57,000 members in 100 countries around the world.
To achieve CISI Chartered Firm status firms must demonstrate commitment to high standards of professionalism. They have to meet a number of measures, including having a professional development programme that aligns with the CISI continuing professional development (CPD) requirements.
