The CISI's annual Financial Planning Week to promote the benefits of professional Financial Planning to the nation will be launched next week on 26 January and run until 1 February.
The CISI is urging Financia Planning professionals to get behind the campaign and offer free introductory sessions during Financial Planning Week.
The CISI's Financial Planning Week is an annual campaign organised by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).
It aims to spur people to "improve their relationship with, and understanding of, their money and finances," the CISI said.

The campaign is being led by Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professionals. CFP status is held globally with over 230,000 CFP professionals.
Some of the planners already offering complimentary Financial Planning sessions during Financial Planning Week are listed here.
CISI CEO Tracy Vegro said: “CISI Financial Planning Week shines an annual spotlight on the value of professional financial planning, financial literacy and helping UK consumers take control of their finances. This year’s campaign follows the release of the government’s Financial Inclusion Strategy.
"We were delighted to lend CISI’s support to the Economic Secretary to the Treasury Lucy Rigby launch last year, and the team are developing new free key stage three resources, MoneyBase, that will offer school students practical money skills.”
During the campaign the CISI's wayfinder consumer website will be active at: https://financialplanning.cisi.org/cisiweb2/wayfinder/tips-and-tools listing CFP professionals or CISI Accredited Financial Planning Firms.
Many UK Financial Planners will be supporting CISI Financial Planning Week activities by sharing articles and guides, hosting free one-hour Financial Planning sessions and heading into their local schools to talk about financial literacy.
On social media, the hashtag #FPWUK will be used.
