Abrdn’s Aberdeen Asian Income Fund Limited is planning to move its tax domicile from Jersey to the UK and adopt UK investment trust status, the company has reported.

Abrdn has agreed to buy AI-powered wealth manager Exo Investing for an undisclosed sum as the financial services provider and investment manager plans to offer digital wealth management services via an app.

Standard Life Aberdeen is to rebrand as Abrdn (pronounced: Aberdeen) in a move to bring together the Standard Life and Aberdeen names under one united brand.
