Wealth firm Brown Shipley has hired two new client directors.

Kevin Doran has been appointed as chief investment officer and managing director at AJ Bell Investments, a provider of online pension, investment and stockbroker services.

Brown Shipley, the wealth planner and investment manager, has hired Alan Mathewson as its new chief executive, subject to regulatory approval. He is due to start his new role by April.

Brown Shipley, the wealth and investment management firm, has added two new appointments to its Edinburgh office, including an executive from a Financial Planning firm bought by the company in 2015.
