The FCA has told managers of 64 funds to make it “clearer” to consumers how constrained they are, it has been revealed.

Trading in funds has risen by over a third (35%) in the past year, an online provider has reported, with recent stock market volatility encouraging significant sales of some large funds exposed to failing firms.

Five risk-targeted funds have been launched by investment manager Schroders in partnership with Distribution Technology, the provider of risk-profiling and Financial Planning services for advisers.
