Two fraudsters - jailed for their roles in a £415,000 boiler room investment fraud involving worthless coloured diamonds - have been ordered to pay back £172,987.

Crooks and scammers have been taking advantage of the Coronavirus epidemic to ramp up their fraud operations with a 400% increase in virus-related fraud in March.

An insurance claims handler has been jailed after he abused his position to steal £390,478 from his employer by diverting customer payments into his own account.
