Former interim FCA chief Christopher Woolard is to take up a partnership role at financial and accountancy consultancy giant EY in April.

The new chief executive of the FCA, Nikhil Rathi, will begin work at the regulator tomorrow (1 Oct).

In his final speech as interim FCA CEO Christopher Woolard has urged the UK to seek a new regulatory model as it faces up to some ‘painful lessons.'

Christopher Woolard will be stepping down from the FCA Board and any executive “or decision-making” roles from the start of October.
